螟黄赤眼蜂雌成虫对不同颜色瓜叶菊花的选择性

Preference of Trichogramma chilonis Females for Different Colored Flowers of Senecio cruentus

摘要: 本文研究了螟黄赤眼蜂Trichogramma chilonis雌蜂在正常光照和黑暗条件下,对不同颜色瓜叶菊Senecio cruentus花的选择趋性以及不同颜色彩纸对螟黄赤眼蜂寄生能力等的影响,以明确螟黄赤眼蜂对颜色的趋性。结果表明,在正常光照条件下,白色的瓜叶菊花比粉红色、蓝色和紫红色的花更能吸引螟黄赤眼蜂雌蜂,彩纸处理试验结果也基本显示相似。但在黑暗条件下,螟黄赤眼蜂则无明显趋性。通过对选择率和颜色参数的相关性拟合表明螟黄赤眼蜂趋向于亮度高(白色和粉红色)的颜色。因此,在筛选合适的蜜源植物提高天敌控害能力时,花的颜色也应是一项重要的考查指标。

Abstract: Parasitoid adults feed plant flower nectar for nutrition. To this end, the parasitoids need to recognize a sugar source as food. In the present study, preference of Trichogramma chilonis females for different colored flowers of Senecio cruentus and papers under illumination and whole dark conditions was investigated. Choice tests under illumination showed that white flowers of S. cruentus attracted 62.38% of T. chilonis, significantly more than pink, blue or fuchsia flowers and blank control. However, under the dark condition, no significant difference was found among all the treatments. Similar results were obtained for color papers in choice tests, white and pink papers attracted 59.83% and 40.69% of T. chilonis, respectively, significantly more than blue or fuchsia papers and blank control. Further analysis of choice response and color parameters showed that T. chilonis preferred high brightness (white and pink) color. Thus, flower color should be an important consideration in screening of appropriate nectar plants for improving the pest control performance of Trichogramma.
